PQRS Now Available Through Rcopia-MU

PQRS – the Physician Quality Reporting System – is a very hot topic in physician practices right now. In a nutshell, it is a Medicare program that allows doctors to take advantage of another federal healthcare incentive by reporting on quality measures.
DrFirst is now including this reporting capability in its flagship Meaningful Use product, Rcopia-MU℠. This allows providers to benefit from the financial incentives of both programs with a single application, and a single set of data.
DrFirst’s Rcopia-MU became a certified Meaningful Use solution in late 2010. Since that time, more than 300 eligible providers have collected over $6 million in Meaningful Use incentive payments. Just recently, the Patient Registry component of the Rcopia-MU application has been approved for the 2012 EHR Vendor Submission Program, one of only a select number of vendors that has a current Meaningful Use certified EHR.

DrFirst is conducting webinars during the month of July to help educate providers on how they can effectively use Rcopia-MU and PQRS. Information about the webinars can be found on DrFirst’s website at www.drfirst.com/pqrs.jsp
