It’s with great pleasure that we laud the ONC-ATCB certification of EHRs offered by five of our partners: Chartlogic; Greenway Medical Technologies; Intuitive Medical Software, nextEMR and Universal EMR Solutions. They’re among the first companies to have an EHR product pass the program.
The ONC-ATCB program certifies that EHR systems are capable of meeting the 2011/2012 criteria supporting Stage 1 meaningful use as approved by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). Certification is required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
DrFirst president G. Cameron Deemer said of the accomplishment: “DrFirst extends its congratulations to our Partners for meeting this major milestone. We are proud to be affiliated with these five innovative firms and look forward to many of our other Partners passing this important meaningful use certification.”
DrFirst has 120 certified EHR Partners who provide practices and other healthcare organizations with a smooth transition of their patient data while providing the benefits of Rcopia, the award-winning e-prescribing software which is the cornerstone of DrFirst’s product line.
