Want to Breathe Easier?

DrFirst’s eprescribing solution has a proven track record of increasing patient adherence to prescription medications.  According to a study by the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, asthma patients are more likely to routinely take inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) when physicians keep close watch over their medication use and review detailed electronic prescription information.
Physicians at the Henry Ford Hospital tracking patient adherence information via DrFirst’s ePrescribing application resulted in significantly higher adherence (by 35 percent) than those who did not utilize electronic prescribing.  And as noted by lead study author, L. Keoki Williams, M.D., MPH, better adherence is directly related to better asthma control and less hospitalization.  These proven results show how DrFirst’s e prescribing software helps doctors and patients to breathe easier.
