Is there any cost to the physician practice for the Rcopia™ solution?
If you are eligible to participate in a health plan sponsored program, then Rcopia™ is free. If you are not eligible, you can purchase Rcopia™ at DrFirst.com or call us at 888.271.9898 x167 or contact us as Sales@DrFirst.com.

Can a physician choose to stop using the Rcopia™ system at any time?
Yes, the physician simply notifies DrFirst that they wish to discontinue the service and we will discontinue the service immediately to prevent future renewals from being sent electronically.

Can a physician use Rcopia™ with another electronic health record?
DrFirst believes in an open environment connecting PMS and EMR vendors. We have an affordable interface that can connect both one-way or bi-directionally with most practice management and electronic medical health records.

Can a physician start with Rcopia™ and add additional modules of the full electronic medical record when ready?
Yes, DrFirst also has a Physician Services department that sells an ASP version of NextGen PMS and EMR.

Are health plan formularies already loaded in the system?
Yes, the majority of the health plan formularies are in the system and DrFirst manages any changes to each formulary when the changes become available through our relationship with RxHub and the 3 major PBMs (Medco, Caremark and ESI).

Is DrFirst connected to the mail order pharmacies?
Yes, DrFirst allows you to send scripts electronically to the 3 major mail order pharmacies (ESI, Caremark, Medco). This allows your patients to receive their meds in a more timely manner.

How does this connect to my practice management system?
DrFirst can load the data from your current system. Most programs will fund a one-time patient demographic upload for each provider practice. A data interface can also be purchased through DrFirst.
